Hi Hans,
Hans, just a little note to let you know that K-9 Johny got his first bite last night.
He ran an awesome track and bit a black male at the end. The only thing that saved the guy
from getting punctured was that he was wearing a big heavy coat.
Johny did not hesitate a bit when he engaged the guy. Again, bad guy was sitting completely passive under some briar bushes.
We were all covered in mud and cut up from the briars but now Jason is like a proud papa. Johny really needed this track to help him along.
He finally got a track with a real bad guy at the end and got a real bite. I will call you later I am tired.

Hi, I just wanted you to know I took Bax for a chiropractic appointment
with the rest of my guys. The Veterinarian that saw him works all over the
Midwest to include many Police Department. He works on their working dogs
to keep them in shape. He first asked me to work him a bit for him and asked
how much I worked him which is about 2 1/2 hours of work and play a day
for the 2 Shepherds. He told me that Bax was one of the structurally best
Shepherds he had ever seen not to mention he really liked his temperament.
Dr. Weaver stated he wished all the police K9's he worked on were this
well put together. He made several call through the day and asked for all the
information on where and how I got him. I gave him all of your and Hans
web site information. Hans had also given me a card which I gave him also.

Hey Hans- Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that my handler and K9 Endy,
just finished their certification for patrol work. They did great and you would
be very proud of the dog now. He was a little young so we kept him back and worked
on exposure and confidence until he got a bit more mature. He is doing very well and
should be a very formidable dog when he’s a three year old. Now we’ll focus on getting
him some successful street work. I’ll send you some pictures soon.

By the way, Awe is doing good, I've kept her
for myself. Grif is doing well and has made some
tracking finds. Cyklon is now on the road for the
Sevier County Sheriff's Department and has made his
first drug bust resulting in a vehicle confiscation
the third day on duty. He is doing exceptionally
well. I'll email pictures of all three dogs a little
later on.
